Rutherford County Photo Contest

This contest will be a lot of fun and will help us showcase our community as an exciting destination for visitors. Each photo submitted may be used in various RCCVB publications and on our website to promote Rutherford County. (Please note: Photos may be used by RCCVB prior to judging deadline). After six months, all submitted photos will be judged, and those who submitted the top photos in each category will win dinner for two at an area restaurant or a $25 gift card to our Rutherford County Keepsakes gift shop. Photos will be judged based on content and quality. An entry form must be submitted with each and every photo. So grab your cameras, and take your best shot!

• Anyone is eligible to enter the contest; however, the photos must be taken in Rutherford County.
• Photos must not feature the intellectual property of others (i.e., a registered trademark) and must be in good taste.
• Limit 10 photos per person.
• Entries must be received no later than March 21, 2012.
• Please submit digital images in color, at least 300 dpi in JPG or TIF format, submitted via CD, DVD, or email (max. file size 3 MB).
• All entries become the property of RCCVB and will not be returned. All photos may be used in RCCVB media prior to the judging deadline.
• RCCVB reserves the right to crop photos.
• Photo credit is not guaranteed for all uses of images by RCCVB, but will be given if images are used on the website www.ReadySetRutherford.com or in our annual Visitors Guide.
• RCCVB assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to submitted photographs.
• Each photo must be submitted with the entry form, which includes a publicity release and permission-to-reprint form.
• All accepted photos may be used in various media formats for an unlimited time and at no cost to RCCVB.
• Contest entrants agree to all the rules and regulations set forth by RCCVB.
• Judges’ decisions are final.
• RCCVB is not responsible for any inaccurate or incorrect information about submitted photographs.
• RCCVB reserves the right to suspend or cancel the contest without notice.
